I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Michigan State University (1990) and a State of Michigan Provisional Teaching Certificate: Michigan Substitute Teacher Permit (2008).
As a marketing and public relations industry professional, I have over 30 years of experience in writing, editing, and public speaking. I worked for major corporations, including Giffels Associates,
Inc. and Arthur Andersen LLP. I participated in many career development workshops and seminars such as the Sandler Sales Training for the Non-Selling Professional and the Weld Coxe Group
Marketing Coordinators Training which enhanced both my oral and written communication skills.
In 2007, I began working as a substitute teacher for Professional Educational Services Group. I merged my communication background with teaching and found great satisfaction and success.
I am knowledgeable, professional, and patient. I relate well to my students and I pride myself on making each tutoring session productive, stress-free, educational, and enjoyable.
